"If you find yourself connected to this piece, chances are is that you may be in a relationship whereby both of you are neither financially 'stable' nor 'accomplished' in your own way. Regardless how long you've dated one another or where you are right now, the issues that constantly arise in your relationship has always linked back to economics, thus making you feel like your love life is somewhat going downhill from the arguments, fears and insecurities that surrounds the issue.

If this is true for you, I want you to know that this message is for you and that you are both going to be alright. I remember the time where CG and I constantly fought over silly things, mainly because of the pressure that she had to face from my family who were dead worried about me being jobless at home, and the shame from her family who were also dead worried about her choices while dating a guy who seemed clueless about his future. She was a 'First Class Honour' graduate in her University and as all students of distinction, great things were expected of her. However after rapidly growing in her field and some 'Selfish' manipulation from me, she decided to give up her career in hopes of helping me build a dream life together...

Despite all that we've been through, CG came into my life at a moment where my first serious business venture was dying off. Weirdly, she walked out of her promising life, and walked into the life of poor man filled with nothing but hopes and dreams.

We've been through more stormy days than we've had sunshines, however each time the sun did come, it came with a blaze of rainbows, comets and magical rays. The one thing that kept us going throughout this period, was the 'Faith' that we were getting closer each day.

Fast forward 10 years, we are still miles away from where we want to be. In fact, our lives has taken so many detours, that the old road (plan) which we made no longer exist. It changes so quickly as the weeks goes by that our dreams, aspirations and goals are completely different now. Our priorities have changed thus affecting the decisions that we make.

What we're trying to say is that, there will never be a guarantee that you will be rich financially in the near future. Most of us predicate our lives around this idea of getting 'Rich' before we decide to start living. We chase an 'Instagram' dream that is true for very few, yet lose sight of our 'Destinies' and what's important around us.

Having reached the highs and lows of our financial life together, we can solidly say that money does ruffle some feathers, but it is the least of your worries. In fact, not having money may turn out to be the greatest teacher you can have in your life. It teaches you to treasure the little things in order to value the bigger moments. It shows us that true strength comes in moments of darkness and days of thunder.

This piece was made with the intention to help us in recognizing that happiness isn't in what we have(materials), rather it's in what we leave in one another that counts (faith, encouragement, strength, hope, trust, belief, etc). It brings out a hidden strength in us, while forcing us to go deeper into our experiences and to learn from each moment that comes our way.

It grounds us to be more connected to ourselves and one another; bringing about more empathy and compassion in our relationships, arguments and worries. It keeps us calm in chaotic moments while aiding us in seeing the light in one another; bringing gratitude in all the little things that makes our life 'Rich'. This removes our mind from a state of scarcity, to a state of abundance; thus attracting and manifesting the life that we were meant to live together..."
