Being born prematurely by almost 2 months made my birth a risk. The doctor's said that it was dangerous and i could lose my life but they had no choice; and they were right. As soon as i was born, as soon as i could feel what it's like to be in this world, as soon as i drew my first breath, my heart had stopped beating...
Everyone thought that i didn't make it; my parents thought that they had lost me. Even though i wasn't conscious or old enough to be able to know what was happening in that room; the emotions that were circling everyone; the tears of sorrow and sadness, but some part of me feels like i was present; like i was there all along...
However, after about an hour later, my heart started to beat again; bringing me back to life. Everyone teared up with joy, thanking the Gods for bringing me back into this world. It is from that day, that they started calling me the miracle child...
It's funny how life can sometimes take a huge turn. I can only imagine what it must have been like in there for them; knowing that they were so close to having a child and to lose it all at the very last moment. Was it a prayer that saved me? Was it their cries of hope? Or was it the culmination of intent from everyone's wish to have me back alive? Whatever it was, to us it sounds like a miracle...
Being born under such circumstances taught me to believe in the impossible; to believe that life is so much more than it seems. It has taught me to appreciate every little thing; from the smallest to the largest...
Having said that, this design is a reminder that our lives is a magical thing. Have fun with it, enjoy it, and live it..."
