Wisdom From This Stone:

"If you find yourself attracted to this stone, chances are is that you may be longing the feeling and joy that love brings into your life.

A part of you feels empty regardless the money, status or life that you've built. Though you may be putting out a strong front, however deep inside, that inner lover longs to be seen, heard, understood, appreciated, loved.

You sometimes find yourself sitting down alone, wondering if your life is worth living; anxious about what it will be like in 20 or 30 years time if things don't change.

You may even feel like you're not living up to the full potential of your life. Like as if you're dragging to get by each day and wondering if you'll ever know something larger than what you have right now...

This feeling of uncertainty causes you to search for external means of pleasure in hopes of silencing the anxiety that creeps up whenever you are alone. This sometimes comes in the form of the need for validation from others, frequent shopping, unnecessary eating to 'satisfy cravings' or in some cases, vanity on social media, or going on frequent holidays as a form of 'escapism'.

While every inch of you wants to learn what it means to be creative, to give & to love freely, you feel a block in your capacity to love others a little more deeply. This makes you question yourself at times, wondering if you're cold or heartless; wondering if you're capable of compassion and love...

Being connected to this stone opens up our hearts for deeper emotional healing to take place. It helps us to realize that the feeling of 'Love' isn't an external feeling, rather an internal sweetness of emotion; forcing us to look deeper into ourselves and to evaluate the relationship we have with ourselves all over again.

It teaches us that our ability to love others deeply begins with our ability to love ourselves more. It helps us heal from emotional pains & trauma caused by heartbreaks, betrayal or loss; revealing to us the lessons that we need to learn in order to grow into our best self...

Connecting with a rose quartz transcends our energy in a powerful way. It raises our vibration to the frequency of love, while attracting all that is in line with this vibration.

It removes us from being stuck in the dimensions of survival, greed and personal gain, and raises our awareness to experience the feeling of empathy, love, Forgiveness and compassion.

It helps us get rid of the blocks that are holding us back by making peace with the past and accepting them as a part of life.

It teaches us that 'Forgiveness' does not mean whatever they have done to you is 'okay and acceptable'. It means that you will no longer allow the past to hold you hostage from your future.

This in turn nurtures our soul and fills us up with an immense amount of self-love, making room for the most important 'Forgiveness' to take place; the one for ourselves.

Too often we allow the memories of the past torment us over and over again, thus closing us up to the Grace that is present around us. By opening ourselves up to the healing and nurturing love of the Rose Quartz, we are opening ourselves up to receive 'Better' again...

Lastly, this stone teaches us to show the world what it means to love 'You'. It helps us explore ourselves a little more compassionately; furnishing ourselves with the same kind of love we try to give everyone else and to build a deeper connection with ourselves; which in turn, removes the need for external validation to feel whole and loved once again..."

Meditation :

Meditating with the Rose Quartz helps us to resonate with the frequency of compassion, while releasing the emotional patterns that were holding us back from our divine destiny. It opens our hearts to 'Give' and 'Receive' without expectation; allowing for embrace of the higher and finer frequencies of Light to manifest in our lives once again.

History, Myths & Legends :

In ancient civilizations, such as those in Egypt, Greece, and Rome, rose quartz was used as a talisman for protection and to attract love. It was believed to have the power to strengthen the heart and improve circulation.

According to Greek mythology, rose quartz was first created as a symbol of love and beauty by the goddess Aphrodite. Legend has it that when she rushed to the aid of her beloved Adonis, she caught her foot on a thorn and her blood spilled onto the white quartz, turning it pink. The stone was then forever associated with love and passion.

On other accounts, this gemstone was known as a great healer. Greek myth tells of Cupid, the god of love, who brought Rose Quartz to Earth to spread more love and passion throughout the world.

In the Egyptian empire, this stone was once used for beautification. Facial masks of Rose Quartz have been found in the tombs of ancient Egypt. The Romans and Egyptians believed Rose Quartz would clear and encourage a beautiful complexion, and prevent wrinkles.

Early cultures of the Americas used quartz amulets. Known as the “love stone,” it was said to balance the emotions and to heal anger and disappointment.

In ancient Buddhist culture, rose quartz was believed to promote inner peace, kindness, and emotional healing. It was often placed on the heart chakra during meditation.

Apart from that, rose quartz was a stone honored by the Tibetan and Oriental cultures, and is still one of the major carving stones used in China. Known as the Heart Stone, Rose Quartz may have been used as a love token as early as 600 B.C.

Ancient Australian healers were known to make powerful sacred waters out of this stone that they call liquefied Quartz, and considered it to be a panacea.

In modern times, rose quartz has become a popular stone for healing and is commonly used in crystal healing practices. It is believed to help open the heart chakra and encourage self-love, forgiveness, and compassion.

Overall, rose quartz has a rich and diverse history, spanning cultures and beliefs, with a common thread of healing and love running through them all; while weaving its magic from generation to generation to generations...
